Celebrating Sustainable Development Goals
Cleaning services play their own small part towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). It’s important to celebrate and capture the events occurring in the rest of the world. I hope this page helps to raise awareness and encourages individuals and businesses to follow similar sustainable development goals.

My Sustainable Development Goals
I’m committed to helping the world become a more sustainable place both for our generation and the generations to come. Cleaning is admittedly a very small part of this global picture – but it plays its part. In my trade, I’ve looked to sustainable cleaning in the collection of waste material (from cardboard to e-waste through commercial waste removal services) and I’ve promoted the use of probiotics in cleaning. While the chemicals we use in the cleaning industry are not 100% environmentally friendly, I want to play my part in making them more “eco-aligned” by advancing a more safe and healthy approach to cleaning. I’ve noticed, for example, that many cleaning products use harmful petrochemicals and the production of them result in CO2 emissions. Probiotic cleaning products can help in providing a safer alternative.
Another consideration is the growth in cases of drug-resistant bacteria in hospitals and the need for proper cleaning in the medical and healthcare industry. I’ve actioned this across my cleanings services by cleaning ambulances, care homes and dentist practices using GBAC approved cleaning practices. The inestimable damage that COVID 19 has caused and the has also taught me the importance of having cleaning products that are effective in the removal harmful bacteria and viruses which create conditions for those viruses and bacteria to strengthen their resistance to our immune systems. We’re all after better, healthier and safer places to work and live, and I want to play my part in that. My SDG’s are simple:
Promote Healthy Cleaning
Create Safe Spaces to Live and Work
Support those in Need
